Key Challenge: To provide compliance with Section 106 for the emergency repair of damages caused by hurricanes Irma and Maria to signage and guardrails.
Solution Approach: Using a multi-discipline team, all locations identified to have guardrails that were affected by hurricanes Irma and Maria and are scheduled to be replaced will be assessed for compliance with Section 106 for the preservation of historical and cultural patrimony. This work is an extension to the project that was successfully completed by KEPSC in 2019.
